How do I upload using the SoundCloud app? There are a few minor annoyances like being unable to 'Like' a whole playslist once you start playing it, but they don't detract from the achievement there.
I think the developer has set himself a high goal here and it is appreciated. Note:

Amen ❤No complaints at this point, it loads fast, looks great, love the layout and sizing, everything is clean and nicely readable and the album art is a good scale. How do I fix this? (I just tried to check version history, but it’s fairly impossible to find. Cannot login from my iPhone app, although I successfully logged in from the laptop.
This thread is old but I was experiencing the same problem when trying to sign in on iOS and even changed my pw like 3 times.
This app is a third-party implementation of the SoundCloud API and is in no way affiliated with SoundCloud Ltd. • Not all tracks are available for listening due to third-party app restrictions. It’s not in the main SoundCloud app on Android yet, but was delivered at some point on SoundCloud Pulse, the creator-side app. I got to enjoy songs I haven't heard in ages. I mostly use soundcloud on my phone and I am unable to use it because of this. He just needs to push the design a little further to reach the Groove Music level.
Now it's a Universal App and I love it.
