Students must be matriculated to the College and in good academic standing to enroll in an independent study. Final approval of the independent study is granted by the Provost in accordance with faculty load. Permission to audit a course must be obtained from the class instructor. Instructors are not obligated to offer independent study courses.A student may elect to audit a course rather than take it for credit.
