You use the Hustle app to get numbers and text volunteers. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts It's easy and fun. Just shoot a quick text back whenever you get these if you have questions, needs, or to let us know if you'll make it or not so we can update organizers at the venues.
Ground control is a web app we use to give assignments to volunteers. Most people don't answer their phones anymore and I think it is been considered more acceptable to even text before calling your friends so think about how strangers feel. My southern accent is pretty thick and I guess between that and their cell reception I felt like I had to keep repeating my words and I annoyed them more than anything.
